Had 201 stops today.

9:30 start, they didn’t have a truck to load till 9:55.

80%+ was 7000 shelf... meaning 7000 shelf was 5000, 6000, 7000, 8000 and floor both sides.

Finished loading at 10:50 and sorted a few of the 15-20 stop streets out of the ‘piles’

Left building at 10:55, first stop ~11:25.

Finished at 8 after back tracking 15 stops that I couldn’t find through day cause everything being 7000 shelf and drove 20 min back to building.
That sucks.... kinda like when you get a 50 stop split, all spa’d To 1204.

Unless there were some very unique circumstances, your PDS needs some Special High Intensity Training.

Drivers didn't mind some OT, safe bet they minded being out till 10pm with 250 stops.

UPS didn't really show us anything, they just went back to the way it was. Drivers were used to all the OT, never base your income on more than a guarantee.

We will see how long this keeps up once the fuel bills start mounting up, tires, maintenance, insurance costs, etc. UPS has number crunchers that know this, but have to wait for real-world results.

However, I'm fine with the less hours, I have more of a family life. I would rather lose a little weekly and hopefully have the health care taken better care of during retirement.

Drivers weren't out past 10 hours back in the daily in herds like they are now.....no way.

I feel for the guys just starting their progression, but at my level I'm good with 8hrs.

Feels good to get home and my daughter is still awake.
