I think it would be so awesome if Elon got the right to not hate or dismiss renewable energy so much

I think it would be awesome if we had giant patch of solar panels like he said. Even simple things like solar panels on top of parking lots.

Doesn’t have to be all or nothing, you know what I mean?
It would still require areas with enough sun. And backup generators when it's cloudy. And a huge amount of battery storage capacity. And definitely wouldn't work in the Pacific Northwest most of the year. And not in the Midwest or Northeast in the winter. Nor during the rainy season in the Southeast.

Daddy's gonna be making those iPhones in America soon thanks to President Trump!

4/10/25

"According to BofA analysts led by Wamsi Mohan, shifting iPhone assembly to America is technically possible, however it would dramatically increase production expenses and create logistical complications.

"iPhone cost can increase 25% purely on higher labor cost in the U.S.," the analysts wrote in a note to clients. They explained that even if Apple finds domestic workers for final assembly, a "significant portion" of iPhone components would still need to be manufactured in China and imported to the States.

Assuming Apple faces reciprocal tariffs on those imported components, the total manufacturing cost could rise by 90% or more, the analysts estimated."

China Raises Tariffs on US Goods to 125% in Retaliation

The announcement released in China also includes the following statement:

Given that, at the current tariff levels, U.S. goods exported to China have no possibility of being accepted by the market, if the U.S. side continues to impose additional tariffs on Chinese goods exported to the U.S., China will ignore it.

Word is China 🇨🇳 making Trump 🇺🇸 sweat. Hate to say this but it reeks of dude waiting for old girlfriend to beg to get together. They are not calling
