i forget how many of the revolutions were non violent in east europe. like 2 or 3 of them.

the way it works is exactly like star wars and the matrix which is partly why those films are so popular. you have ppl protesting non violently in the streets, and the ruler will tell his military to fire on them, but the military wont do it because they know the ppl protesting and because they know its immoral when ppl are non violent. so the ruler is out of power soon after.
