I’m noticing the union is currently viewing the contract as, if there is no monetary consequence to the company violating the contract, then there is no violation.

the overtime at this company is always terrible. But lately it’s been so bad, it’s not worth it.

the union really needs to step up.

few want the overtime, most don’t.

excessive overtime was the largest issue across the country. they crammed 22.4’s down our throats to fix it. But overtime seems to only get worse.

What would that accomplish? If the virus is half as deadly as you seem to fear it is, we'll all kill each other off soon enough anyway, right? So all you have to do is lock yourself in a padded room, and the "death cult" will disappear soon enough.

Honestly, if someone is that scared they would probably end up homeless so I should have named issues a person could have staying inside a cardboard box.

I'm all for opening things up but people are acting stupid as hell in my area. We went out to eat yesterday and the place had every other table blocked off inside. On our way home a restaurant was circumventing rules by putting people outside and it was absolute chaos. If someone there was sick multiple people were leaving with it.

I guess it depends on what you're comparing it to. I'm concerned more about my sister who has asthma and my father who is 82 and probably won't make it through something like Covid. I have not worn a mask but wouldn't hesitate or feel my rights were being taken away if a store required it.

My son is playing in a baseball tournament next weekend but he won't be going to any water or trampoline parks in the near future because he wants to be able to visit his aunt and grandfather with a lessor risk of giving them something that could easily kill them both.

We just got back from the casino. As soon as you walk in the door the security person points. There is this iPad looking thing you have to line your face up with and it takes your temp. If you are over, you can't come in. That's ok though. You just walk around to the other door that is not manned and walk right past another "Covid detector". Poker room is closed, tables are closed, restaurant is open and happily seating but urging people to maintain 6ft of distance when walking around. SMH

Slot machines were shut off at every other one. About 3ft of space. Little laminated placards at each machine that says machine was or was not sanitized. Cool, but no one cleans the signs that we as guests are supposed to flip to indicate not clean or clean. Talk about half assing it.

Either we as a country need to open fully or we as a whole need to commit to the safety protocols completely.
