Have to be forklift certified. I am along with most of the car wash.

Interesting we don’t even have one person for forklift, certified other than maintenance.

You'll probably get your job back at some point. Since your work schedule is "slowing down" maybe you can carry that over to your forklift driving when you get back.

Maybe not. I don’t really know if hitting something with your forklift will count as an accident lol. Although he did leave a note and says there was no management, which could be untrue as far as I know. I certainly would’ve not left until I found someone in management personally if I felt it was that important to write a note. The story sounds odd.

It’s interesting the difference in locations because I don’t think I would want any of these part-time employees being forklift certified in my building because most of them are high as a kite when they come to work and smell like a skunk ass because they just rolled up in the parking lot.

Was a shop steward present when you were told they were terminating you? If not then you can easily get your job back. If so then… Not good.
