Uh, Lars has the worst attitude and worst of all can't even play his instruments. Dave might be a prick but he's smart and has quite a bit of musical chops. Poor excuse you gave. Megadeth has far more musical viability than Metallica ever could ever dream of.
Metallica punching-in all of their songs on albums is a great indicator. They also couldn't play through their Justice album on tour, how embarrassing is that. Which brought on the simplicity of mass-production black album and the future releases.
