What is "bargaining unit work?"

What I thought... were supposed to "work as directed.." The problem is mismanagement of personal. We start preload too early and don't have enough work to keep that many people busy for that long... Last year in peak we sit or did dummy work for 2 or 3 hours each morning. Good pay overtime to sit and screw around but starting at 12:30 every morning is tough when you have a family and another job.

"Bargaining Unit Work", is any worked performed by the Teamsters in your barn that is covered by the CBA. What is defined as "Bargaining Unit Work' is usually found in the recognition portion in your CBA.
