Not a trial, but it's, by legal standards, for the accuser to prove guilt, not the accused to prove innocence. Y'all would railroad a man with no corroborating evidence. I believe that's a lynch mob.

The entire process is about personal opinion of whether he should have the job. His ridiculous performance with the yelling and crying should make it easy to form an opinion.
The guy was accused of extremely vile things that his family was exposed too. Of course he was mad. But bottom line we were told we must believe his accusers in spite of no corroborating evidence. That he was guilty of sexual assault. Is this what will happen every time there's a chance the Left will lose control of the Supreme Court? We've already seen what happens when they lose the Presidency. And it was his open indignation at what he endured that turned this whole situation around and has brought Republican interest in the midterms way up. See you in November!

The FBI interviewed all 11 people who might have been witnesses. There was no need to talk to people who maybe heard it from a friend years later. It wasn't a fishing expedition. Which it could have turned into if it wasn't defined as limited in scope.Nothing backed up Ford's constantly changing story. Or the other accusers either.

Daines said he would be at his daughters wedding in Montana tomorrow. But due to the odd rules of the Senate they can hold the vote open until Saturday night or even into Sunday morning so he will be able to vote. His vote may not matter but there is a very thin margin. It looks like the RINOs will end up voting yes. They provided political cover for themselves by waffling but can't afford the fallout by voting no. Except for Flake but he IS a flake not up for re-election.
