Write up question

How long do they have to write someone up for? I am just wondering. I was told I was going to get written up but still haven’t yet so was wondering how long they have to write a person up until they can’t or can they write someone up no mattter how long after. I can’t find that answer in the handbook. I am in south cal district

10 10 10 rule. They have 10 days to discipline you for something. You have 10 days to grieve it. If they don’t respond to your grievance within 10 days, the charge is dropped.

You're in HI I'm assuming. So you're in the Western Region of Teamsters (the best region ;) ). So the company has 10 days excluding Sundays and holidays. Also don't worry about it. Per the WRT all warning letters are automatically protested. If they issue you a warning letter 10 days after the incident that they are aware of then file a grievance under "article 28 of the WRT and all applicable" for untimely discipline.

My center manager told me that even 20 years after retirement, they can send a guy to “break me” and make me wish I could build a time machine to go back and beg my parents to never hook up. And also a warning letter. Anyone know if this is true?

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw it happen to a guy once.

I guess it was pretty serious.

Enjoy retirement. Management really doesn’t care.
Even the temp sups they send us didn’t care. It’s a different kind of game. We just try to enjoy the job and make the best of it.

They tried to write me up last week for being late. I told them that my 22.3 bid sheet listed my hours as 6-10, 11-3, they were allowed to keep me late but regardless, because they haven't bothered posting a schedule with my name on it, nothing was relevant, and btw, could they please start using me? The penalty pay will eventually be nice, but right now they owe me for 90% of the last months pay because management cannot go onto a computer and reclassify me as a 22.3
