I finished my interview for the courier position at Fedex Express last week. Unfortunately, I have not heard anything back.

From scouting all the threads here.. This is a good thing :P

I am not sure what my next steps should be though. I don't want to come off as impatient, but was told I'd get an email in a day or so, or 3 if they chose another candidate.

I've heard of some folks waiting to hear back for weeks, if not months. Rest assured, if the hiring manager isn't a professional in time mismanagement, you'll most likely be hired after background check comes in. & Pee test.

Don't expect much in the way of truth from FedEx management that is unless they have no idea what they're talking about. Regardless, you'll learn to read between the lines.

Totally normal. Could just be the hiring manager or senior manager is on vacation this week.

Over here in Aus; they changed it to where you only get a reply, after the interview if you made the cut... guess theres alot more people wanting to join (or less companies to pick from).

I really hope I hear back from them this week.
    Thanks for all the info.

  7. If you have a contact phone # from the interview, call them today. No Harm in wanting or asking for the job.

Tell them you heard that they are desperate for help.
