My hire date was 8/1/22. New contracts started on 8/1/23. On 8/1/23 I was at 21.25 . On 8/1/23 I'm officially over one year going towards my second. My pay rate is at 24.00 as of today, but shouldn't I be at 25.75? I know on 7/31/23 I was at 20.50, but according to the contract if on 8/1/23 I'm on 1 year progression I'm entitled to 25.75.
If my hire date was 8/2/23 then according to the contract I wasn't one year on 8/1/23 then I would understand.

You may have missed out on the additional raise by 1 second. The contract expired on the 31st at midnight.
