I paid a pretty good portion of my kids college bills
Now instead of them living at home they are both homeowners and have a decent job
I figure it was better off to give him money earlier in life then later on in life after I pass away

My mother-in-law when I was younger pay for our house to be painted inside and out new appliances and carpet. She knew that we wouldn’t put the necessary time into the home that we had gotten years back.
