Big oil

DIDO dismisses anything that conflicts with his Reagan era viewpoint of the 21st century. If American's truly want to become a more isolationist nation EV's are a good place to start. Trouble is components are made from rare earth minerals and 70% are located in China. So pick your poison....Middle East Kingdoms or China?
Where do you come up with these silly narratives?

I don't have any problem with electric vehicles. A lot of you green cult members are obsessed though. It's strange.

I don't think I'm smarter than you. I just don't understand the Democrats' willingness to destroy the country in order to get complete control over it? And why it's impossible for you to admit that Trump did some very good things?

Pure ignorance. As if we can rely on low oil prices to forever boost the economy? Then push all blame on the placeholder when the prices go up? Pure friend’ing ignorance. This is inevitable. We’ve killed how many people in an effort to control the oil game??? And we still can’t keep up. Because it’s a dying resource. We need to get over it and wake up
I’m not trumpeting Joe Bilbo here, unfortunately I have to make that clear. He’s just the friend’ing puppet man.
There's hundreds of years worth of oil out there. Fracking has made that possible. And we've only recently had relatively low oil prices. And we can certainly blame Biden when he immediately set policies in place guaranteed to drive up prices.

I really don’t have a huge problem with Don. At all. We got exactly what we voted for. A businessman who ran the country like a giant business. Shocker. Of course we benefitted in some way financially from his actions; that’s what the republicans do. Give us carrots of financial relief to ensure us that things are going well. Look at the economy!! Look at the stocks. It didn’t start with Don, it won’t end with Don. Now the democrat gets in there and resets everything. You get mad because you don’t get those little financial benefits anymore.
Rinse and repeat. The cycle of ignorance
It’s his supporters, and their PROUD ignorance that I think is really causing some damage.

So what. It’s a car. A to b. It doesn’t increase penis size, it doesn’t affect testosterone.
Maybe these dumb kids are evolving past you?
You can just go chill in your bunker with all the canned food, guns, and f350s you can handle
i thought it was actually an interesting observation that you thought needed to be slammed. Todays kids already seem to be trending away from home ownership and away from car ownership and more towards ubering and having home delivery on everything. Is tommorrows market going to one where people never leave the home they rent as they have everything delivered to them.

Right, you’re clinging to possibilities, without taking into consideration the consequences of our actions. Wouldn’t it be wise of us jump ahead of the game and cut our reliance off??? Let the rest of the word fight for that sh**, we have enough blood on our hands, and there are other options. You have to be willing to adjust if it’s gonna happen. That’s what we’re running into here: republicans don’t want to hear we should spend more and be smarter and create other opportunities: it’s about “no let’s be the big dogs and go GET all the oil at all costs and friend everybody else.”
Super tough macho USA stuff, that just isn’t realistic forever

So you're onboard with all the mining necessary plus the disposal of millions of toxic batteries as they fail? Why aren't we pushing hydrogen?

Ya according to them we're supposed to already be out of oil. Just like how we're supposed to be dead from the ice age. Then it's global warming, the inconvenient truth is we're past the point of no return. Oh that didn't pan out? Okay it's climate change, and the world is ending in 12 years!

These people are in the doomsday climate change cult, and the date of the apocalypse keeps getting pushed back. They're brainwashed.

Be honest. You think all young people are p***** and should be tough like you. That’s what you think in your warped, all republican all day mind. Admit it. You think you’re smarter than anybody who’s not a republican, JUST because you’re a republican.
Not just any republican either, a Trumpublican. The lowest scum on the earth! Terrorizing the country with your always ignorant, non accepting, pro business over people diatribe.
Just admit it. You’re pure evil.
Rooted in ignorance, bred into hate
man the brainwashing is bad in this one

Apparently you are living in times past. Trump didn't get us into new wars, and fracking here in the States made us the world's top oil producer and energy independent. Biden's restricting exploration and drilling on Federal land puts us back dependent on Middle East countries.

no not at all. the market is moving that way let it happen naturally . suddenly cutting our reliance off would have catastrophic effects on our economic well being.

You got nothing Newfie. Move along. All you do is deflect. You add nothing to this discussion. Go pet your dogs

other then watching your jealous penis envy over republicans I'm not getting anything from you either.
but on the chance I have misread your lustful jealousy lets hear your condemnation of the democrats . There is certainly plenty you could comment on.

And it always comes down to putting them in charge of everything. And somehow saving the planet from climate change involves reordering society with socialism because white people are racist.

No, we're just going to drive gas prices up to ridiculous amounts to force people into electric vehicles. Who gets hurt by that?
Just your feelings. That’s about it. Take the initiative and become less reliant on gas if you can’t afford it

You got the wrong guy. This is why I don’t like trump supporters.
You turn EVERYTHING into oh he’s just a brainwashed democrat
It’s because you are stupid and ignorant. Period.
We’re not going to be reliant on oil forever. That’s what’s funny, you all act like I’m wrong when you know I’m not. That’s why we have electric cars. That’s why we fund research for other options.
How else do you expect us to change? You think we should just dry the world up then snap our finger and say “ok we don’t need it any more”
What’s your grand plan?
As Newfie said let the market work it out. Congressmen saying we're within a few years of our destruction is the kind of rhetoric that won't do us any good. If we have hundreds of years worth of oil why must we be completely in electric cars in 15 years? Why not transition with hybrids? Why does it have to be electric? Hydrogen cars give much the same benefit as gas cars without the emissions. No, we must have what we want, have it now, and attack anyone personally who stands in our way.

Something to keep in mind. The only major US rare earth minerals miner is MP Materials which has to send it's ore to China for processing. Not defending Big O and EV's are the future whether the pundits like it or not but we are not well positioned when it comes to the REM's needed to power the EV conversion and Europe is even worse off. At the same time however 2035 seems to be the widely accepted cut off date for oil fueled car production. Airplanes and consumer goods will still require oil for the foreseeable future.
