So, pensions are now failing in the Central States.....

There isn't enough money in the fund, it was spent years ago..... This isn't going to end well....

So we have a choice to make....keep subsidizing the boomers and let the entire company go under....or let them go and look after our own future.....

I don't disagree with this. Pensions are a ponzi scheme, it's unsustainable. Not enough money for all the retirees who were promised that they could live for free doing nothing. People used to die around 65 years. Now they are living well-beyond that. 25 years of being subsidized isn't going to work.
