City. Give me a hand-truck and bulk stops any day. Screw the long driveways and searching for obscure addresses. Time goes by quicker as well.

Have you ever delivered a country run?

I've been told that lots of crap has been added to the route since I retired.
i like to be driving down a dirt road and see a covey of quail flush * can't see that in town
Can't see that very often in the country anymore either.
Can't see that very often in the country anymore either.
here, you can
my route is a mix of both * that being said, my center is classified as super rural; i drive 30 miles to get to my area * or 60 miles of travel each day with no deliveries during that time * i guessing some on here don't travel 60 miles all day
Where are u at next winter I'm bringing the Brittany out and there won't be quite as many
Our rural drivers say the same thing but it's more than that and you are not giving yourself enough credit. You all have nerves of steel in the winter - feeders, too!You just have to be smart.
You are retired----why would you even care?
