Ground did it again

Yeah, call the 800 number and ask for the who gives a damn specialist.
Just make sure it goes through as a complaint, and it will get taken seriously at the station level.
Ground drivers have had a blatant habit of forging signatures since day one for the most part have gotten away with it.
I suppose you have some data to back that up? Or is that one of those "MT3 takes a jet to work" kind of statements, sounds juicy but no proof to back it up?
You come on here acting like the signature police when I bet that in the real world if you answer a phone call about that at your station you'd be making all sorts of excuses.
I've taken enough nasty phone calls in my career so far that I don't feed any need to make excuses for when we fail a customer. When that call comes in (and it has), my job is to document all the information available regarding the issue for the manager who will have a business discussion with the ISP/IC. If it is determined that the driver forged a signature, disqualification is likely imminent.

It is unfortunate but it is easily avoidable: act with integrity.

That's a laugh. What proof do you have?

I've seen it happened... but with ASR parcel ~ a box of wine was DR'ed to the side entry/door by the garage

dunno why that driver did it ~ it's not worth that $1.xx for that box o' wine to have it left out there from street view

---------------------------------------------
more FedEx Office locations should be open 24 hours for the customer to divert their parcels to there & they can pick it up at their leisure (i know of 2 so far that has a 24-hour location).

Their proximity to "red zones" (no-DR zones) are catching on to reduce any complaints/claims

Sam,
I'm just proving that ground has and will forge signatures.
As it happened to me in the past.

I don't know if I'm correct, but I recollect you boys saying you don't get paid till delivered? Is it the same for your drivers? They don't get paid until delivered? If paid per piece.

do you say the same of Express?

I don't know what you mean.
I can tell you this, when I was still young at Ex, we had a ~18 yr. vet. get canned for falsifying something during deliveries. Apparently, he had been warned but, he didn't heed it. Got fired. I always think of that guy.

I don't falsify anything regarding delivery of a pkg. There are too many ways to get found out that you can't control. Ie. video, electronic tracking, etc.

so, yes. Express has it happen as well. In fact, from your own instance, first offense didn't get him fired. Maybe this thread would be better named, "FedEx does it again".

No BB, not very often. But that guy did get canned. I hated making the call but I felt violated.
