Gym membership re-fund?

Upstate is right. We have Blue cross/blue shield they reimburse half.

I had Blue cross/ Blue shield through my Local up until March 1st this year. They didn't cover any reimbursement for YMCA membership. Now that I'm on Medicare and have my own BC/BS suplemental insurance they cover everything. I don't believe the Teamsters Union (as much as I'm Pro Union) wants their retirees to stay in shape and live a long life after they retire. The quicker they get them off their books - the better.

Im pretty sure they dont. However, you CAN claim it on your taxes at the end of the year with all your other work related expenses, if your a driver you can claim sun glasses, shoes, razors, sun screen, etc. It will be the typical 20% kick back. If your gym dues are $30/month thats $360 a year, youll get $72 back on your taxes.
