Joining? Where have you been the last few years? With control of both houses of Congress and the Executive office, they won't bother merely altering the Taft Hartley act to enforce national right to work.
They'll repeal the NLRA, and no one will have any union protection.
You now have a business man as President, business backed Congress and soon to be a business friendly Supreme Court.
Few people realize what this election really means...

It's been a while since I heard the numbers, but I remember a DRIVE rep stating that either Public Sector RTW (which we only held onto because Scalia died before the court rendered a decision) or National RTW (both very likely to happen at this point) would cut membership by something like 30%.

Your right to organize, your right to strike, overtime, FLMA, 40 hour week, NLRB, the weekend, payed holidays, paid vacations, so on and so on. You will feel it and you will feel it hard in the next 4 years

Member education on political issues is legal for unions to spend dues money on. Unions should do this to get members more involved and educated.
