I went totally FREE WILLEY STYLE today. That's right Jumpman was rockin the invisible man droors today DADDY O lol. That's how I roll on a stupid crazy hot day like today lol. FREE WILLEY godddammitt lmfao.

I can't when it's this hot. I wear compression shorts under my shorts or else my thighs chafe something fierce.

I turned the heat on this AM it was in the 60's with low humidity. Felt good after the 90's earlier in the week.

You suck. I left the house at 7:50AM and it was already 83 degrees and felt like I was swimming and I'm in New England...

I carry a little hand towel with me and wet it up every so often and tap my face often, works pretty good for me

The current temp up here, 1450 feet above the valley at the summit of my route is 64 degrees with a steady 25mph wind. I'm actually going to close the driver side door because the breeze is making it a bit chilly and I forgot to bring a coat to work. Dont worry about me though, I can always run the heater if I need to....View attachment 14144

64 degrees and you need a coat wtf and close the door lmfao. Come on pop pop you aint that old and your blood aint that thin. 64 that's primetime delivering weather there daddy o. Maybe a long sleeve light thermal brown shirt but a coat nah not going to happen at 64 degrees lol.

The trucks get a LOT hotter than that. Probably 20 or 30 degrees above outside temperature if its a sunny day.

I had a thermometer in the back one day when it was 98 outside. It was 132 in the back. It gets up to about 112 here at the hottest.

I beat the heat by taking July off. No browns for me until August.

I looked up how to make portable A/C units..basically,it's a cooler..filled with ice..then you make a lid out of some plywood to fit the cooler..2 holes ..one for a small fan..other is the ''exhaust''..the fan can either be battery operated..or..I'm going to try a small solar panel to power the fan..
The fan blows downward into the cooler over the ice..the air comes out the ''exhaust'' hole..you could rig that up with some dryer type venting hose..so you could point the hose at your face/body..
One guy goes as far as to keep the cooler looking like a cooler..leaving the lid on..so it could be in the back where y'all keep your supplies behind the driver's seat..
Secure the cooler with tie downs...run a long wire from the fan to the solar panel..which could be secured on top of dashboard...if you're going to keep the cooler in back..then it's going to take some thinking on how to get the cool air to the front..
Going to make a prototype and test this out..but checked on youtube..and it does work..
The thinking of letting it still look like a cooler..as we all know how mgmt. might think if they see someone wheeling this contraption in every day..but if it looks like a cooler full of ice and cold water bottles..and the fan on the wood thing left in the back,locker,trunk of car??..bushes down the road..then...who's to say..
I think also the cooler is going to not have any drain hole in it..again..in case mgmt. thinks it's going to leak all over the precious cardboard..off to the local second hand shop for a cooler!!..

The UPS freight drivers always stops by my package car. Start rubbing his arms like,he Is too cold!.. Then he will roll down his window and wave some cold air towards me!...lol
