First, everyone in my center knows I have my own business and don't need the job, I just love free insurance.. anyway
So today I TEXTED my sup today that I wasn't going to be there today (my gf had a miscarriage last Tuesday night) and he replied back "you know you missed 98 days in the past 12 months".
I have yet to see a warning letter, But then again I'm probably the best driver at the center (when I go to work) I'll run a 9.5 day in 6.5 hours, but they seem to just want to add more business stops on top of my 125-130 stops/ 32 pickups I have.
It's like they keep getting dumber every year. On my route they like to put this mall on me lately, keep in mine this mall is outside and probably 300 yards+ from the dock to the farthest stop. I called in one Monday and it took 5 drivers to do my route, makes sense right?
After reading a lot of the threads here looks like it's nationwide, they say they can't change those time studies, but when you run the same amount of stops/packages and have more miles the next day and then shows a less planned day? Makes sense right?
The "whole point of the pass system is to keep drivers from crossing" I can high-five other drivers when drive past each other in the same neighborhood.
The intelligence of UPS just boggles my mind, it's like they come up with these plans and write it in crayon.
I've pretty much had it with UPS and guess I'll just pay for insurance (or just marry my gf haha)
P.S. I've been with UPS for 11 years
