One of my vows when I came back was not to concern myself with your post count. I am going to expand on that and not concern myself with you period. Dave.

    Back to topic...
I watched and I went further.

    Derek is a musical savant.
60 minutes did two segments on Derek.
Both very good and both leave you asking 'how is this possible?'.

I agree. They say he can not button his shirt, yet he can play anything at a moments notice.

Why I find Caine's Arcade amazing...
This is amazing because Caine could have just sat in his father's office playing on a DS or iPad.
This kid did not settle for playing games created by others.
    He created his own games.
Most important, he waited patiently for customers and developed pride in ownership and an accounting system/verification system without a computer.

Was it 14:22? Seemed like a minute to me. I have a grandson who has been diagnosed as a highly functional autistic. I take a keen interest in this subject. That was 14:22 minutes of my life that I won't get back but I enjoyed every second of it. But alas, the :05 of my life that it took me to read your reply was wasted and unfortunately gone forever.

Years ago, a TV program did a special on a pianist and they used the term 'idiot savant' back then. I was always amazed how a person who was disfunctional in almost every way could be so brilliant. 'Rain Man' also covered much of this with the guy's amazing numerology talents.

This guy is an amazing sculptor.....
