Every local has a different pension setup.
Who has the best one and why?
804. They got a bump last contract and the company paid for it.
Are you sure about that?
Pacific Northwest has the best closely followed by Upstate NY.
Do you have any idea what their 30 and out numbers look like?
Which one? Ours is $5.5K/month.
And underfunded. what's Its real value?
A lot less than it needs to be.
Ha Ha Ha Ha !!!!!
I'd take that if I were you... And move to Texas ASAP. You could be a rich man with that.
I spent 4 years in Lubbock while stationed at Reese AFB. That's enough for me.
Can those numbers change if the plan was in trouble? I thought someone mentioned yours was funded under 50%.
My pension should be OK but I do fear that future retirees may receive a much lower amount.
My personal hope is that the company takes over our pension plan.
If that happens the max payment would probably mirror the UPS/IBT plan.
That's funny, Dave. Texas said the same thing about you.
ALL numbers can be changed---you know what they say about death and taxes.
They loved me long time.
Remove "probably" from that post.
Hard to beat 639's payout. Pretty sure it's the highest in the country right now.
What pension fund isn't under funded??
What's the payout?
