After Hamas took over it went down to 18,000 at one point. What's to avoid? Before Israel put up its wall there were constant bus and market bombings. After the wall went up they were a lot safer. Including the 2 million Muslims who chose peace and are living inside Israel. You seem to be saying that Israel should let the Palestinians come and go with no restrictions even if that means getting Israelis killed. You don't care about the safety of Israeli civilians?
