I walked across a lawn with a Supe when I first started and the homeowner yelled at us. I stay off them 97% of the time since. I do back on the grass to turn around when needed though.

Probably straight lines it through the yard. I'm like him but it's more like 99%. The other 1% is when it's a house occupied by people that park their cars in their yards and/or have junk and trash there too. I cut straight through the yard because it's highly unlikely they'll care.

Staying on the designated walkways definitely takes longer. And so does walking around the back of the truck to deliver to the driver side. But hey that's the methods right?
However long it takes me,that's how long I need. I really don't give a crap about numbers, except on payday.
Other drivers have seen this driver " bending" the methods. This driver is certainly efficient, but that doesn't account for everything.
We have a few of those.
That's most of our drivers.
That's most of our young drivers. They cry about stops but no matter how many they get done early. They also get hurt and get into accidents.
Sad future for our company.
They will learn. It took all of us a while, but we learned. It's up to us to teach them, like the old timers taught us.
If they don't drop dead or get fired first.
No such thing as being so heavy you can't take lunch till 5. Take lunch when the contract says/. If there are going to be missed, let the center know. Its their problem
