when dra 1st started at our station the counts were right on. they only did 2 loops to start with. dra created 4 extra routs because being based on speed limits each rt had way too many stops. they quickly found a way to over ride the dra stop counts and we were very quickly over maxed with stops. I think upper mgt thought that dra would get these slugs up to where there numbers should be and found out that their expectations were way too high
Understand whatever you as a delivery person gets done in a day, upper management always thinks you can do more. They only get quite about it when a station starts crashing vehicles every week. I wonder if "someone" is video recording his day to show what he goes though. I'm sure,if he is, he edits out having to pee in a gatorade bottle in the back of the truck.:swimming:

Our management team has come up with a way to beat the system, its called falsifying (yes a terminal offense).

No matter how late the plane is they just input a regular end sort time into the computer, which then runs DRA .

Our SM is so concerned with budget, we are starting an hour late TUESDAY, no worries....who cares about service or customers when you can falsify. Somebodys bonus must be in jeopardy ?????

Management falsification has always been largely overlooked. Most "successful" managers got that way by knowing how to beat the system...by falsifying. The ones that go crazy and get canned are usually the ethical ones that try to operate by the book, which is largely impossible. FedEx is a company where management lives or dies according to reports. As hypo hanna accurately stated. "They have reports that monitor report compliance". Absolutely true, and to succeed in a dysfunctional, dishonest system like Express, you need to be a scumbag liar who will falsify constantly. And because most of our upper management types are clueless, the falsification and need to do so, is constantly increasing.

In other words, the whole thing is one big lie.
