Scott Davis: Going public was the right choice

    Interesting. I am wondering if he is knowingly speaking BS, or if the upper levels of the company TRUELY believe that going public hasnt changed the culture of the company for the worst.

    Not as much as you might think. We are still really focused on our customers and employees and we are still looking 10 years ahead.

    So this is how you focus on employees?????? Screw over long time employees AND the stock is the worst investment I own.

    I did not see anything in this article that addressed the culture of UPS (other than stock ownership by employees).

    I think they are very aware of the culture change at UPS. I don't know what their opinion is about the good or bad of those changes.

    "Boy.....we sure screwed the pooch on that one."
    "It was a great move for those in the position to "cash-in" and leave the company. Not so much for those left behind."
    "I don't know what we were thinking. But, I'm doing OK regardless."
    "Culture change? I can't see it from up here."
