Strength through joy
I have resisted saying this but it has come to the point I must. Only a maroon would think that character is not important in a President, The questions of people (both Dem and Rep) delve into the character of Obama. Questions that he has either side-stepped or flat out lied about. Then when pinned down, he merely says, this isn't important to the American public, insert favorite topic is what's important. Well, I am an American and his character is indeed important to me. Do I expect him or anyother candidate to a perfect little angel? No, everyone has things in their lives they don't want in public view, but the experience, influences, and character are all part of the qualifying package for me. And for my own mind, Obama just has too many minuses and unanswered. If you are happy with that then good for you. These are indeed viable campaign issues. I'm not sure how they effect McCain qualifications though. Oh yeah, I have learned many things in the last three weeks. The biggest thing I have learned is that BHO is more sleezy than I originally thought and is socialist at heart.
Thank you this is an excellent post.

How 'bout you, TOS? Tomorrow we'll have a new President-elect. Will you be moving on?

I already have. You dont see any new threads about the campaign from me or videos other than a thread for electoral predictions.

Too bad none of you have the guts to put your guess on the line (except for av8) and would rather name call or assume that I am someone else named susan.

My decision is made.

My vote is the same as 89% of my state. I didnt side with the dopes who are in the 11%.

The fact that many on this board bought into the nonsense, like birth certificates, aunts, acorn, rev wright, rev pfleager, muslims and the like, took away from convincing anyone that McCain was capable of leading this country.

Sure, those who would already vote for McCain no matter what would take the ball and run with it on these issues.

But thats not going to get him elected. 1 day to go and there is NO gain for McCain in the polls.

In fact, his home state of AZ is now back within the margin of error in polling and put back into the toss up catagory. This isnt a good sign for McCain.

You know it and the others know it. Its over.

All the last ditch rhetoric wont make a bit of difference.

Today John (Maverick) McCain was holding a rally in tampa florida, less than a THOUSAND people showed up.

Yesterday in Ohio, Obama spoke and over 50 thousand people came to see him. When he spoke in florida, obama never had a crowd of less than 40 thousand.

When you have less than 1000 people showing up, your message is falling on deaf ears with 1 day to go.

Sorry, these are facts.

Lets get over the "character" issue. No matter if McCain had felony convictions on his record, you all would still vote for him.

John McCain himself publicly stated he used "bad judgement" scheming around with the Keating 5. He was not EXONERATED as someone on this board claimed.

He was disciplined to the amount of a slap on the wrist for his "bad judgement". It made no difference, he got to keep the millions he made along with his wife and her parents in shady land deals.

This should be more troubling for someone looking for character issues.

When he collaborated with the enemy, that showed poor judgement and a lack of character. What happened to name, rank and serial number?

Instead, he does commie info-mercials on behalf of the north vietnamese.

You guys can name call all you want. It makes no difference to me.

While this board seems to be filled with right wing conservative moderators, its no wonder other members dont like to participate in these threads.

They are all attacked constantly and when they fight back, then the conservative moderators "gang up" and call for group votes for banning.

I have recieved many PM's from board members telling me they enjoy ALL my postings and say that they appreciate my standing up to you all.

Its amazing how a public forum can be run by a margin of a few. There are at least 6 posts from you telling me to leave.

Ok, I think Ive said my peace on this election, you all know how its going to turn out.

You keep playing in the mud and I will take the high ground.

As for tomorrow, Barack Hussein Obama will become our president whether you like it or not.

This is not a birth certificate.
This is the certification of live birth.
Two very different items.
..............................................
A Certificate of live birth is issued when someone is born outside of the USA instead of a birth certificate.

Isn't Factcheck owned by a group that has connections to Ayers.
So I don't think they can be trusted .

The COLB shown has been declared a fake by many experts.

go to www.obamacrimes.com and read the info posted yourselves.
Because under rule 36 he already has admitted ,by not opposing the charges ,to being guilty.
I especially like the part where all of his names are listed, this guys has more aliases than most on the FBI 's top ten.

Answering the Q? of why the FBI, CIA, etc. haven't caught him yet.
Because technically there is no law enforcement agency in charge of checking if a canidate is a legal citizen.

the thing that stands out to me is the document missing official signatures and the state seal.

Livin the cardboard dream
She must obviously be in D.C. where the only race to watch is to see if Obama breaks 90 percent or if McCain breaks 15 percent. I live in Washington state where the Western seaboard gets to decide everything for the rest of the state. There has been a democratic governor for the last 25 years here. 4 years ago, the Republican candidate Dino Rossi won the election, but the margin was something like 300 votes so they did a recount. Rossi won the 1st recount, there was another recount. He won the second recount albeit with less votes. There was yet another recount and Rossi said he would abide by the recount wether he won or lost. Mystically and as if by magic, he lost by 129 votes on the 3rd recount. Gregoire has done not much to endear herself to the voting populace over here, she raised the payroll for her cabinet by 50 percent over 4 years and has put up even more stupid works projects. I hate works projects. They create jobs for construction by taking a project and stretching it out. There is a new freeway being built over here in Spokane to connect the I-90 to the North Side of Spokane. It's taken so far 10 years of actual construction and property acquisition and 20 years of planning. IT DOESN'T TAKE 20 YEARS TO BUILD A FREEWAY! It's not even 10 miles long! The cost to build this freeway increases every friggen year they dawdle on it. What good is it to create jobs on a works project when it cost the taxpayers 5 times as much as it should cost? If they would have put their heads down and just got it done, the tax payers could have saved hundreds of millions.
Enough of that rant...apologies. But the bright spot is that Rossi has a great chance to win in this year of the democrat. If he wins (again) then it will launch him into the national spotlight. Apparently the RNC and DNC have injected a couple million into winning this state. It's going to be fun to watch!

Neither Chev,

Betting on legal lawsuits to win campaigns is what is killing the RNC and its idealogy.

America is waking up to the reality that the RNC is power hungry and will do anything to keep it.

This country is ruled by the people and for the people.

Tomorrow, the country's citizens will speak loud and clear..."we want our country back"...

Goodbye Bush, Cheney and those connected to them, goodbye to the congressman and senators connected to them as well.

Goodbye to the Karl Rove's of the USA and the "thinktanks" that guided BUSH to the worst 8 years in american history.

Peripheral issues are what the RNC got its supporters to cling to.

I understand this, when you have nothing else to run on, then attack the other guy.

Remember this CHEV, just because you blow out the other guys candle, doesnt mean yours is shinning brighter.

Yes, and hello to the party that believes BIGGER government should take care of everyone at the taxpayers expense. Hello to the party that allows the murder of unborn CHILDREN no matter what the circumstance. Hello to the party that would sit and Talk to terrorist nations that will laugh behind our back at the week administration that is too naive to see them plotting against us. I'm not ready to live in the French passive nation. I'm not ready to live in a country where it will take months to see a doctor for a simple procedure because of the long waiting lines socialized medicine WILL create. It is proven that socialized medicine does NOT work. It is a failed system. And how about those taxes. You are blind if you do not understand that taxing income of $250k at a higher rate WILL adversely effect the employment rate in this country, thus effecting the economy in a negative way. Who will spend money if they have no job. Who will stimulate the economy with NO job? It is a ripple effect we can not afford. The economy is in the dumper as it. Don't hand me the party line BS that it is all GW's fault. I seriously doubt he single handedly brought down the economy. You can thank greedy investment bankers for that.

A few minutes ago you started a Thread ranting about being tired of all the BS being fed to you by the media and internet blogs.

Now your taking the time to feed us the same line of "BS" you claim of the media and bloggers. Which is the real Chev? :dont_know: Please stand up.
After the first sentence of claiming a party who believes in bigger Gov't, I could not read on. I'm not even sure who you are referring to Dem or Rep. It seems safe to conclude that George W. Bush, member of the Republican party and braintrust will go down in history as the biggest taxer and the biggest spender ever. Practise what you preach.:peaceful:

Mccain still doesn't get it, he spent most of his speech today attacking Obama ...

That's because even McCain understands that most of his votes will come from people voting against Obama rather than voting for him.

That's how I cast my ballot - Against Socialism.

First of all, I do not pretend to be a bloger. I started that thread after this post because I am finished with all of this back and forth poo slinging. I don't believe I said I was in favor of the size the govt. has grown to now. The key word was bigger. I don't want to see the govt get any bigger than it is. In fact I think a good healthy cutting of the fat from the pig is in order. Things will go the way they will and it doesn't much matter what you or I think.
I will just have to say, have a great election day. May the best propagandist win. peace

But they didn't bring this suit up. A liberal democrat did.

Unlike the DNC , remember from two years ago...elect us & we will stop the war...How has that worked out for them ?
This country is ruled by the people and for the people.
NOt for long if obama & his left wingers take control.
Tomorrow, the country's citizens will speak loud and clear..."we want our country back"...
Then kick obama back to Kenya

Goodbye Bush, Cheney and those connected to them, goodbye to the congressman and senators connected to them as well.
Warning....having a one party system leads down a very dangerous path.

Goodbye to the Karl Rove's of the USA and the "thinktanks" that guided BUSH to the worst 8 years in american history.
Prove it. America has seen more growth under Bush than under Clinton & Carter combined.

Peripheral issues are what the RNC got its supporters to cling to.
The Constitution is law.
I understand this, when you have nothing else to run on, then attack the other guy.
Are you referring to the senator that when he was sworn it did not use The Holy Bible , but instead The Koran. You know the one who claims not to be a muslim ?

Remember this CHEV, just because you blow out the other guys candle, doesnt mean yours is shinning brighter.

I feel sorry for you, TOS. You are being used by a very slick conman.
Someone who has fooled so many into believing that he will bring needed change. The very bad part is that almost no one has asked just what change does he really bring.
Why attack from outside when you can attack from within. The first ones to be purged will be the moderate democrats, the one who think that they can work with the far left.
This is part of a broad plan that has been going on for decades. Look at the school systems; its no longer the 3 r's , its brainwashing our youth into the far left's idealogy. They are destorying the very basics of a strong family values. Because once the family unit is gone so is any resistence .

fILE A GRIEVE!
Staff member
LIBBY, MT—Ken Hausch, a Libby-area Luddite separatist and conspiracy theorist, announced Monday that his much-anticipated manifesto, My Lonely Battle Against The Mind-Control Slavery Of The Illuminati And Its Footmen In The CIA, KGB, U.N., Vatican, NASA, IRS, AT&T, Federal Reserve, Disney, The Order Of Skull & Bones, And The Rosicrucians, is "coming along fine" and should be completed by fall of this year.

"So far, so good," the unemployed, one-time University of Washington physics graduate student said. "Right now, I've got about 14,600 pretty solid pages in the can, with probably fewer than 5,000 to go. Once that's done, it'll just be a matter of double-checking the facts, tightening up the writing and making sure the whole thing's got a nice, cohesive flow."
Though reluctant to reveal details about the manifesto, Hausch said it reveals the "whole and real truth" about a master plan by world governments and multinational corporations to brainwash and enslave all of humanity through the use of top-secret artificial-intelligence and aerospace technology.
"There's some very good stuff in there. Honestly, I'm really pleased with the way it's turning out," Hausch, 39, said. "I'm not saying it's the best manifesto that's ever been written, but I do think I have reason to be proud."
Despite his excitement, Hausch said he has yet to let anyone see the work.
"I know it would be helpful to have someone else read it, just to get a fresh perspective, but I'm really bashful about letting people see stuff I'm working on before it's 100 percent finished," Hausch said. "Plus, I don't want to run the risk of showing it to someone who turns out to be one of the Illuminati's countless servile minions."
Once the manifesto is completed, Hausch said he plans to shop it around to various magazines and newspapers. Among the periodicals he plans to contact are IlluminatiWatch Weekly, The Superpatriot Mimeographed Newsletter and The New York Times.
"I think there will definitely be some interest, hopefully from more than one publication," Hausch said. "Of course, in publishing, it's all about who you know. And while I unfortunately don't have any contacts at The Washington Post, I used to be in the same militia as one of the editors of The Posse Comitatus Bee, so that's a pretty good connection. I'll definitely make sure to send him a galley copy when the time comes."
Hausch said he has already taken steps to ensure the manifesto's safety when it is sent to publishers.

"Obviously, by sending my manifesto under the auspices of the U.S. Postal Service, I run the very real risk of having it intercepted or tampered with by federal agents," Hausch said. "That's why I've equipped it with a special numerological code involving the second letter of the third word of every sentence. Should someone acquire a manifesto without this code, it is surely a false, government-altered version."
Hausch began writing the manifesto in 1992 and worked intermittently on it until October 1998, when he put it down to focus on constructing a special aluminum-foil-lined helmet that would enable him to think more clearly and better concentrate on his ambitious work.
"Primitive as it may seem, this hat has jammed a lot of the negative electromagnetic frequencies beamed down by the orbiting satellites developed by a joint NASA/ODESSA collaboration from Gestapo blueprints," said Hausch, sporting the handcrafted metallic hat. "It has also helped to weaken the chip implanted in my brain by Trilateral Commission operatives during my college days in the early '80s."
Not surprisingly, the manifesto has required an enormous amount of painstaking research. But Hausch has had the good fortune to have a number of reliable sources at his disposal.
"The voices in my head have been so helpful in the creation of this manifesto," Hausch said. "Their input has been truly invaluable. I mean, that 1,900-year-old Incan priestess tipping me off about crop circles being the work of the West Virginia Mothman? And that German shepherd telling me about Janet Reno's role in CIA ice-pick lobotomies in Somalia and Nicaragua? Believe me, they are all going to be fully credited in the footnotes section."
Academia is eagerly awaiting the publication of Hausch's work, which it cautiously hopes will be the manifesto that successfully synthesizes the world's many disparate conspiracies into a single, unified theory.
"As a scholar of conspiracy theories, I've learned to be wary about their actual definitiveness and credibility," said Edwin C. Tapfel, director of the Foreign Policy Institute at Columbia University. "For example, last year's most hotly anticipated manifesto, The Extensive Role Of The Freemasons, Microsoft, Pol Pot, The World Bank, George Bush, And The Lake Champlain Monster In The Ruby Ridge Massacre, turned out to be a huge disappointment: inconclusive, sloppily researched and utterly uncompelling. Hopefully, Mr. Hausch possesses the clarity of mind and scope of vision to pull off his ambitious undertaking."
Despite the daunting workload, Hausch remains singlemindedly devoted to the task ahead.
"It's crucial that I finish my manifesto before the Y2K shutdown—which was conceived by the Pentagon, Rupert Murdoch and UNESCO—disables my foil hat and switches my brain-chip interface to assassin-drone mode," Hausch said. "But luckily, I'm almost there. Just a few hundred chapters to go."
