Los Angeles grocery Teamsters represented by locals 63, 572, 630 and 848 were sold a concessionary contract that barely passed by 57 votes. The contract represents Ralphs and Vons members at these four locals.

If the vote of each local would have been respected both locals 572 and 848 would be back on the table as they rejected the deal. 572 is the home local of Western VP Rick M. 848 is represented by Eric T who has vowed not to support Junior next year.

The five year deal gives these grocery employees under inflation raises of $2.55 over five years and just a .50 cent pension increase (.10 cents per year) over the life of the contract.

These grocery workers voted overwhelmingly to ratify their contract in 2010 by 8 to 1. This time around it barely squeaked with under 51% support. Shame on the pro-Junior architects of this horrible contract.

Thank Jr and Ricky M (572 ST) for this garbage contract.

wide load

Starting wage is a waste of time.
Omg would you TDU low life's stop using your cut and paste outline of every contract. Seems like they got $0.75 more than the TDU knob gobblers got in RI for that hospital. Oh and zero pension increase since they promised their people a pension and could not deliver. See, lies for votes.
