They should know how many hours you have left when you show up that fifth day.Management will say it is your responsibility to keep track of your DOT hours. Send a message in the DIAD then head back.
I would think you'd know earlier that you will be out that late and make arrangements then.

They wouldn't allow that here, they'd send help out in the form of multiple drivers to get you in. Latest anyone works here is 8pm this time of year and that's rare, like if they had a brake down or the diad went down. What's going on in your center??
If you've had that bad of a day you should be communicating with them through the entire day that you may have missed.even if you send a message no one still communicates with you.
For working over 14? Or over 60? Or not enough rest?Happened to one of our center's guy. He got fined several k, company did too.
I worked within 15 minutes of my 14 a few weeks back. They dumped a bunch of extra work on me at 6 pm. I immediatly called in and said not sure I can finish all of this.Who's working til 11pm this time of year??
Over 60, happened many years ago.For working over 14? Or over 60? Or not enough rest?
It's pretty hard to get fined since they have a lot of one time situation loopholes built in.
