Management here stated that everything must make commitment, whether or not that's what MEM says.Have y’all heard that P1s will now have a 1200 commit through this pandemic?
1200 is the new temporary commit.Management here stated that everything must make commitment, whether or not that's what MEM says.
How many Captains does this boat HAVE?
Way too many. How many Captains does this boat HAVE?

It starts Monday. I’m pretty sure it has more to do with saving money than trouble with 10:30 areas.I did see that on the FB group but we’re still running normal service commit times at my station right now. I don’t think we’ve really had much trouble in our 10:30 areas at all.
1200 is the new temporary commit.
Probably the new norm after this is all over. I guess it depends on how loudly customers complain when all the businesses open up again. It’s being tested now.Temporary or the new norm? We were told this morning that this starts Monday with no further info.
I've never really understood the practicality of FO's. I was an FO driver for a year and I'd say at least half of my packages wound up in the nearest drop box waiting for the day shift driver because the business wasn't open at 7 AM.I've always thought that our company could do just fine with 12:00 and 16:30 P1 commits, and 16:30 for ALL P2 business commits (no more 15:00 rushes). If someone wanted early delivery, then FO.
Its so a customer can check the wrong service and then we charge them triple....and then wake up their client early ..and piss them offI've never really understood the practicality of FO's. That’s not what we were told. We were told ALL 1030 P1 resi and business will be 1200.P1 commit for businesses is still 10:30 and for residential it's 12:00. Most likely that'll be the new normal.
I think it may be different for individual districts. This is purely cost cutting move to reduce onroad hours. Doubt it will be permanent as FedEx will still have to compete with UPS for commit times. That’s not what we were told. We were told ALL 1030 P1 resi and business will be 1200.
That would be nice since the fastest couriers are having between 5 an 10 P1 lates. It's no big deal. We have lowered the bar big time. That’s not what we were told. We were told ALL 1030 P1 resi and business will be 1200.
