I should have waited a couple weeks to file my taxes. My stimulus amount was reduced to almost half.

You can spread your tax bill for the withdrawal over 3 years.

I'm reducing our AGI to under the limit with deductions for traditional 401k contributions this year. We usually do roth, but we'll get $8800 off our taxes when we file next year this way.

Just something to think about.

Yea, I'm pretty much at the limit too. The wife got some really big bonus checks this year.

You give stimulus to us and we invest it back into the economy or we hire some folk to do work. Nothing grows the economy more than that.
