I heard in the hub yesterday that a round of management job reductions is coming in the first quarter of 2011. Maybe some type of repeat of the 2010 SRP.

I'm betting its a rumor. Just a rumor.
At least not in operations.
I heard that a lawsuit was in the works over this, but never heard anything more on it.I heard it was due to the lawsuit brought about by that group of supervisors who were discriminated against for not being included in this years buy out offers.perhaps another offer will be that all the elderly management over 50 will have full retirement.that will clear them out and make room for the youngsters.
So anyone over 50 is elderly?
SO ...how does it feel when the shoe is on the other foot Dave? LOL
Not quite---1/16/11.
You can feel it though!

Hmmm...I guess so!
So what is my age 63, still building more garages for my house, buying more classic cars, getting on the floor tearing a transmission out, remodeling both bathrooms, drinking to excess (at home, of course), checking out the latest porn sites?
Just think all of the "elderly" mgt people gone, that means no one left to tell the new mgt people how good it used to be.
you kidding? todays management is coddled compared to the good old days. we used to walk nine miles through three feet of snow and pay the company for the privledge of working here...![]()
Barefooted and up hill both ways.
Oh, yeah--it didn't help that my AARP card came in the mail last week.
