I've heard several times that consumer spending was up. Since Christmas volume is driven by gifts and Amazon is by far the biggest online retailer, looks like they may be serious about cutting out the expensive shipping option as much as possible.

Must depend on the area. My station was crushed again and my route boundaries get smaller every year because my stops go up every year at peak.

Yeah I know he’s up in Boston but at my station it’s the busiest peak we had in at least 3 years
