I became a 22.3 on August 3rd 2018. The new contract states if your in progression during the ratification, you will remain at a two year progression. Are they going to go off of when the new contract is actually fully active, or are they going to back date the date needed to be in progression by to before August 1st 2018? I have gotten mixed answers from my stewards. Thanks for your time.

    I believe it's a 4 year progression. It hasn't been 2 years since the 2008 contract.

This contract and the last were 4 year; the one before was 3. You have to go back 4 contracts to find a 2 year progression.

    22.3 or art 40

You are grandfathered under 2013 contract with art 40 FT combo

Sorry not to clarify, it's the 22.3 inside/air combo. My inside rate is part time progression, with a 2 year progression on my air top out. In the new contract it's going to 4 years.

So you would be grandfathered under the previous contract.

  10. I respectfully disagree. It is true we are working under the terms of the old contract until the new one gets ratified but...

He start August 3rd. His progression will be under the new contract.

Oh I just noticed he said August 3rd. I stand corrected.

It looks like he just missed the 2 year progression. Unless I'm wrong.

  14. We had to a lot of ground drivers last contract when it went from 3 to 4 years.

I can understand the confusion when you are working under the terms of the old contract.

    I think it's BS myself.

Yes I agree. They want more drivers to stay but no one wants to wait 4 years to top out.

  16. At least the raised the progression wages. They was way too low for too long of a time.

Yeah unfortunately all these newer guys are going to see the 22.4s and take it cause it offers "more money"

Way back when I became an 22.3 combo , everyone in my building was a Year 1 ( all 5 of us ).
Year 1 combos were exempt from progression.
I was the last one to leave, ( 16 years ) most of the others gave up within a few years.
