If I am a full time 22.3 air driver which my classification is preload/Air Driver which is in my description m-friend. I got told pt timers have first priority over me to volunteer for Saturday’s even though my signed bid says Pre-load. Anyone have any thoughts? I can be forced in on a Saturday to work preload but when it’s slow I can’t volunteer? My VP of my union agrees w/ me but waiting for the official verdict. Then I’ll grieve every pt timer working below me.

Do you want to work preload or deliver air? PT air drivers always had seniority over FT or 22.3 when delivering air as long as the FT had their 40 hours.

I’m talking about volunteering to work preload. Apparently pt preloaders have priority to come in over full timers even though my bid says Pre load

Extra work goes by seniority in the classification. Being a 22.3 you have a different classification then a PT Preloader. I had a similar situation with a 22.3 car washer. I am in the car wash class and the other wasn't. 22.3 have their own classification.

Part of my classification is Pre load. I can be forced to work preload on Saturdays but I can’t volunteer apparently. Would extra work go to pt timers whose guarantee is 4hrs m-friend or me?
