Anyone should be able to bid on them. The contract only says. "increasing the number of full-time opportunities for part-time employees". Nothing about for PT employees only.

There are places 22.3 can only be bid by other 22.3 and part timers.

I can only bid a 22.3 job if one is vacated. U can't bump anyone off

That's true. I guess it could be in some peoples supplment/riders.

You're correct its 18months to move all RPCDs to M-friend and a additional 6 months to move any RPCDs that were hired as T-S.

They probably have to offer to FT first and then PT. So once no one bids it. They will offer to PTers.

What happens after that 18 months.....

Yep.
Seems to be that way with a lot of things. You can file a grievance sure. But does it force the company... nope.

If both FT and PT bid on same bid, FT always wins, no matter how much time PTer has in.

What happens if no PTers bid on it? Will they look at the seasonals to fill the positions ?
