Right, short answer is that it depends on where you are in the country and your plan.

ok how much would a part-timer get at 25 years? and also how much would a full-timer get at 25 years and at 30 years? Thanks
Short answer 25 and under 57 $1,250.00/month. Over 57 $1,500.00/month. FT 25 years and under 57 $2,000.00/month. Over 57 $2,500.00/month. 30 years FT $3,000.00/month. This is in Central States Pension and the new contract has improved the FT pension a little bit, but this gives you an idea. 20 years from now who knows.

The company plan is $60.00 a month X 30 years or $1800.00 a month at any age. Don't know about any PT Union plans. I know of a lot of FT pension plans are not this generous if they even have a pension.

This is what I was looking for concerning the 30 years of vested credit.
Am I reading it correctly in CS Master Agreement that one has to be at least 55 years old to get medical coverage (and pay $200/month, $300 for family)?

Okay, my first post.

Thanks
