also, UPS is run a lot less like a transportation company and way more like a warehouse. they're not very selective in who they hire and you seem like a very capable and intelligent person, so it may not be a good fit.try getting a part time driving position. a much better fit for someone older in my opinion, you get a uniform, deal with people your age all day (clients), have no boss on your back all the time, you're not standing in one spot all night.
as a handler, your supervisor is a 20 year old, your co-workers are 18 year olds, and your tasks are jobs that can be completed by a 14 year old. if you can get a nice mp3 player and have a great talent at spacing out, then perhaps handling is a good choice.
