Over the past few days, every racial disparity you don't want black people to have to be accountable for you've attributed to your feeling that it's due to systemic racism.

And no, in 2020, I don't feel like there are roaming herds of white, racist stormtroopers or white people in general holding black people down all over the Country. There certainly were up until the Civil Rights era, 100%. But now, decades later, it's time for black communities to get introspective and find a better path forward.

Nope. They just need a cultural re-alignment and a better way forward.

Give me an example of a country anywhere in the world where blacks do as well or better than the whites. Especially if the country has no history of slavery or pre-civil rights era oppression as we certainly do. If you can point out one such country for me we might be able to use it as a model for what we could do here.

Racial disparities are a worldwide phenomenon. They're not isolated to the "evil" US.

White people tend to buy from trusted friends or dealers.
White people don't normally sell drugs on the street.
White dealers don't try to kill each other in competition.
White users tend to buy a half-ounce or more at a time up to whatever the felony limit is.
White users don't smoke out on the street or in their car ... they smoke in their houses.

Black people that follow the above are not arrested at a higher rate than Whites.
White people that don't follow the above are arrested at a much higher rate.

As is usual, this is more of a class issue than a racial issue.

Are blacks going to jail for usage or for intent to distribute? Either way lock all of them up.

Typically, they get caught over the felony limit for 'intent to distribute' but get bargain plea for usage, which can include time.

Here in Georgia and Florida, if you just have a joint or two, they just take it away and tell you to "get the hell outta here"!
Seen them thrown out of concerts and festivals all the time.
