No disagreements here.
You definitely can't count on getting any pension increases and if you're lucky it won't get cut. Then when you add in the wild card price of healthcare it makes a little bit hard to plan for your retirement.
As I posted many times in many different threads people may take a little bit of responsibility for themselves and put money away into the 401k

I took the striker 97 to wake me up and realize I need to be a little bit more thrifty and save for my future.
Now later on in life I'm glad I did it.

Ours is 30 years and 55 years of age with a 6% reduction per year for every year under the 55. 500 hours for a full year of PT credit and 1000 hours for a full year of FT credit.
Peer 80 does much better. 500 hrs for an accredited year. Most are eligible between ages 50-53. No reduction in benefits.

When I left at age 60 the pension funds gave out an extra one thousand dollars per month ( until age 62 ) to cover HC.
