Am I required to work more than 5 hours each day as a part time package handler?

Or maybe they should make some more full-time jobs

Totally agree.

The only problem, is the down time between shifts.

"In creating these jobs, the Company shall be allowed up to one and one half (1.5) hour gap between jobs in a workday notwithstanding any provision in any Supplement, Rider or Addendum that is more limiting."

This is the major stumbling block for people bidding 22.3 jobs.

If you live within 5 or 10 minutes of your building, it might not be a problem.

But, why should you have to be there for 9.5 hours.... just to get 8 hrs paid ?

Package Stick

"Send it."
at 5 hours and one minute you are making $21/hr to... lift boxes
apprentice plumbers get $15 to stand in trenches full of knee-deep peepeepoopoo
stay until the job's done
I could work 65 hours if I wanted at my hub rn.

$21.75 to toss :censored2: on a belt, at my own pace. You should see me when I get tired hahaha.

It wasn't 22.4 jobs have the same language about the 90 minutes?

Part time. 2019, 2300 hours. 2020, 2250 hours.
I live frugally, but it would be nice to be paid as a full-time employee, both for pay, and pension.
Will work on that in the local supplement next contract, with few hopes.

If you want fulltime pay get a fulltime job

Family Leave Fridays!!!
I spent 15+ years working Preload. There was a prolonged period in which most shifts would average 3 - 4 hours; when they would exceed 5 -- for whatever reason (delayed trailers, heavy volume, etc.) -- there was always a large number of employees who'd insist they couldn't stay for multiple reasons. Most of the time, management was great at accommodating requests, but I definitely saw more than one person who lost their job for leaving without authorization.
