The CEO is worth 100 billion dollars. He sets up the contractor scheme to keep more money in his pocket. Screw him, screw his company, they need to be unionized or go out of business.

Fully agreed. Not holding my breath though. When I interviewed, the boss told me there had been 60 percent turnover(!) in the company's first 3 months at this station. Every week several people quit or get sacked. Every week, several new faces. They want a staff of 65-70 for 30 routes/day but it's been hovering between 40-45 and they're forced to drop routes on the daily. If I thought there was any traction, I might stick around and try to help my coworkers get organized ... but it's a lost cause, so gonna try and get a foot in the door at the nearby UPS center.

Never happen —in fact UPS employees will be lucky if they are even union a few years down the road.
