“President Donald Trump revealed he spoke to God about the economy amid the coronavirus pandemic and God told him He’s going to have him rebuild “the greatest economy in the history of the world” again.

Yep. Even the Trumpster is no exception. Trump speaks to God( as can everyone), but believing (having faith) that God will help you is not the same as saying "God spoke to me."
God does not "say" anything directly to anyone today and hasn't for 2000 years. As an added flavor, he will not directly speak to anyone until Judgement Day.
"Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. -- Hebrews 1: 1-2
The last days has been the last days for 2000 years .

There is a story in the first half of the Bible that relates Elijah's experience of hearing God speak to him. 1 Kings chapter 19 relates the story:

"And the word of the LORD came to him: “What are you doing here, Elijah?” He replied, “I have been very zealous for the LORD God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too.” The LORD said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the LORD, for the LORD is about to pass by.”

Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind.
