I honestly don't know if Local 728 has a Strike Fund, I'll have to ask. My brother is a UAW shop steward in Bowling Green Kentucky, the UAW used to get 90% of their paycheck when they went on strike. They would plan on striking and take vacations when contracts ran out. His pension is less than half of mine. The UAW agreed on a two-tiered system and has no power anymore.
