Just got home a lil while ago from our Sat sort....was supposed to be 4 hrs but lasted almost 7. I worked more hours this week than I have before as a PTer in almost 8 years. 53.5 hours....should net about 1200 before I'm ass raped in taxes.

I only worked 5 days this week and worked 40-hours Preload, 22-hours Driver Helping and 26-hours Local Sort. 88-hours shattered my previous record of 70-something, set several times but our Preload regularly worked more in the early 2000s.

Our Preload start time was pushed back every night sans Monday, so I'll pick up even more OT.

Check will be something like:

Preload:
20 hrs Reg x $22 = $440
20 hrs OT x $33 = $660

Local Sort:
26 hrs OT x $33 = $858

Driver Helping:
20 hrs Reg x $12.88 = $257.60
2 hrs OT x $19.32 = $38.64

Total = $2254.24, also shattering a record for me -- and probably 8% of my total annual pay. Will also yield another $100 in retroactive pay, whenever that comes.

I'm also completely exhausted and didn't feel like doing a damn thing today.

ya, my 401k and ira retirement plans went up 28 thousand in the last 30 days. that's about a grand a day . and that's for sitting home. plus I cashed in some aluminum cans for 43 bucks on Tuesday.
