Anything I can do?

ginfea,

I see a simple solution to your concern. Sit down and figure out what your life would be like if your husband did not work for UPS.

Considering, pay, benefits and work loads, is there another company that may be comparable. Life is too short to be stressed out over your husband's dilemna and understanding your concern, probably adds to the stress of his employement at UPS.

UPS is not an easy company to work at, as most of us know, and for whatever reason, some employees make it to retirement, and others choose to pursue other job opportunities to suit their lifestyle needs.

your husband should be grateful he has a good paying job. my wife works at jewl. she's about to be laid off. and I'm 6 months away from scale, we have 2 kids, and living in a 1 bedroom. One is 9, and one 11 months. I would beg to work 12 hours a day!
