Regarding jury composition:

I don't know. Just a thought. But in this case, what is the racial composition of prospective jurors that actually show up to be selected for jury duty?

I think that in most places, jury summons are sent to the names and addresses on voter registrations, and/or motor vehicle records.

Therefore it would stand to reason that people who aren't registered to vote, and/or do not own a motor vehicle aren't going to be selected to receive a summons.
