I come to the BC for topical discussion and debate.

Not for joking, mocking or sarcasm.

I judge no one for that and I do agree that the fluff land thread is a great place for those interested in that.

I am not one of them however I will post to that thread at times.

Granted...I didn't know Klein....he left before I came here. But from what I've heard of him....wasn't he fired as a driver for drinking on the job? How

An individual who loses his job because of his drinking may suggest that there is a serious problem with the abuse of alcohol in this person's life.

IMO it is not a laughing matter, but more a crying matter.

Denial causes a lot of people to justify a lot of problems and bad behaviors.

It can be seen here on the BC as well as all over the world.

It is very sad when this occurs, for the families, as well as the individual so afflicted.

I agree choices factor in to life but true life is about Life's Healing Choices.

We are in the year 2015 and what is known about alcoholism today is that some with alcohol problems have gone beyond the point where the choice to drink or not to drink is not as clear as some would like to think.

Life's Healing Choice's call for seeking recovery by admitting problems, accepting responsibility for the consequences and then seeking recovery from them.

I do hope that the loss of the job helped this person look at the possibility of an alcohol problem and to seek help if he recognized it was needed.
