Before UPS got in the overnight business, FDX shipped a majority of customer supplies thru UPS. Guess they figured UPS could deliver them cheaper than we could.

It's surprising to some people even though FedEx (and the USPS for all I know) usually makes a formal announcement whenever there's a new contract or an extension.
