This is interesting about alleged leaks from Bolton's Book. The NYT now says that only their source has seen the actual manuscript, they only published what they were told was in the book. ( giving them an out ) , nothing that has been reported is in quotes.
Bolton submitted his book to the WH to pass it along to a NSA Dept to clarify if anything in his book would have to be redacted, you know things of Nation Security. So the leak has to be a mole in the WH or NSA, ( Deep State ).

Bolton is the mole. He “leaked” his story to the NYT to sell books. This is like the “leaks” about one on one conversations between Comey and Trump, Comey was the leaker. No deep state involved, just good old fashioned capitalism.

A spokesperson for former White House National Security Advisor John Bolton denied Monday that he or his publishers coordinated with the New York Times after the newspaper published claims in his upcoming book about President Donald Trump and Ukraine.

“Ambassador John Bolton, Simon & Schuster, and Javelin Literary categorically state that there was absolutely no coordination with the New York Times or anyone else regarding the appearance of information about his book, THE ROOM WHERE IT HAPPENED, at online booksellers. The White House National Security Council confirmed that it received a draft of the book for review, but noted that White House staff outside the NSC had not looked it over.

“Ambassador Bolton’s manuscript was submitted to the NSC for pre-publication review and has been under initial review by the NSC,” said spokesman John Ullyot. “No White House personnel outside NSC have reviewed the manuscript.”

Many question the timing of the " leaked book manuscript ".
The House had every opportunity to subpoena Bolton earlier yet did not bother in their rush to complete the impeachment process before Christmas.
It is the job of the House to investigate and compile the facts before sending the Articles over to the Senate. It is not the job of the Senate to find new " evidence " for the House. The Senate has to vote on the merits of the Articles sent to them. If they are incomplete, then the House should accept that and any outcome that The Senate reaches.

That’s strange. If it were legal, you’d think the president would have wanted all his men testifying to his actions. You’d also have to wonder why he’d spend so much time going after the Biden’s instead of explaining why his own actions were legal.

That doesn’t support the blanket ban on any cooperation with congress. Trump refused to provide anything. That’s the obstruction charge. He claims he’s above accountability, he claims he doesn’t need to respect the checks on the executive. He’s a dictator and he’s supported by the Republican Party.
